SO - the picture was taken in March 2005. I hope that your being here means you would like to look around this site, see some pictures of my garden and browse through some of my favourite poems.There are also some links to pages on my visits to the US - Texas - a couple of WorldPlay bridge gatherings in both US and UK and there may well be more added as time goes by.......
I SUPPOSE a small amount of biographical detail is called for – I live in a cottage on a farm in East Sussex, UK – with a 2.5 acre garden – this keeps me well out of mischief and is a consuming hobby, along with the computer on which these pages were constructed.
I am moderately addicted to playing online Bridge and the occasional computer game ... I enjoy folk of like mind and I have made many lasting friends during my years on the net ... and met a good many of them ... and there is only a small percentage whom I should not like to meet again ...
I am a keen bridge player, gardener, crossword puzzler, avid reader of a wide range of books; classical music is another lifelong interest. As you will see from the following pages, poetry has long been my great love ... Of course there are other aspects of my life and character which are not mentioned here, to discover more about those you will have to engage me in conversation
