Craggend Cottages are situated at the beginning of the beautiful Kentmere Valley on the outskirts of Staveley Village.
Both cottages are centrally heated with additional gas-burning stoves and extremely well-equipped with microwave cookers, hair-dryers, CD players, televisions, video-recorders and garden furniture.
The majority of rooms in both cottages overlook fields.
The owners are happy to provide tourist information and helpful advice on where to walk, eat, drink, obtain taxis etc - and what to avoid!

Staveley is mid-way between Kendal and Windermere - each of which is three miles distant. Transport facilities (rail and bus), a children's playground, three pubs and an Italian restaurant are in the village which is within a few minutes walk of both cottages.
Staveley also offers a variety of shops, including a butcher, French bakery, Spar grocer, post office, newsagent, coffee shops, bicycle hire, etc., some of which open seven days a week. With local walks from the door (Kentmere three miles) this is the perfect holiday location for those seeking tranquility as well as ease of access to the many attractions of South Lakeland.
