Arrived safely after a long long flying day - 13hrs from Syndey to LAX - 3hrs wait in LA - 3hrs flight to DFW - 3hrs wait in Dallas - 2hrs flight to Omaha.....
Developed a horrid cold and was sniffly snuffly and not a good guest.... Jan and Skip could not have been kinder and looked after me very well indeed.
I had a most interesting day with Jan's sister, Sharon, looking at nurseries (plants ~ not children!) - the new Botanical Gardens which are going to be really something next year, and the Henry Doorly Zoo which is one of the best I have ever seen.
My first Thanksgiving meal was delicious - not sure I am a big fan of pumpkin pie tho!
Friday we drove down to St Joseph to meet KK and hand me over!
