After a 500 yard walk in the blazing sun you reach the first station on the gas powered railway which will take you to the beginning of the long walkway to the waterfalls ~ this was the easy route! The waterfalls from the Argentine side are definitely an expedition for the young and fit. There are several exciting choices of route to take including a boat trip up the river into the Devil's Throat - we chose to view this from above in relative safety. |

Throughout the walk to the overview of the Devil's Throat, whenever you stop to rest in the shade, butterflies will come and settle on your arms, head, legs and drink the sweat on your brow - but it is not easy to take pictures as they are not trained for photo opportunities. I wished I knew more about the different varieties of plants and insects. | ![]() |
