I was most grateful to Wayne for asking his father, Eddie, to take me on this trip to their White River farm.
There is a plan to make it into an adventure park for tourists
with rafting, horse trails, walking paths, overnight
accommodation and places to just sit and absorb the peace, the birds and the
lush growth. It is a magical place
and I am only sorry that my bronchitis did not allow me to enjoy it more. Eddie
was a kind and thoughtful host
and one day, perhaps, if I get back there I should like to see how it has developed
- I am sure it will be a success
with someone like Eddie as the brain behind it.
